Box Score FULTON, Mo. – The William Woods University women's soccer team won their second consecutive game with a 5-1 win over Missouri Baptist University Saturday morning.
Cindy Gonzalez tallied five points as she netted two goals and had one assist. The Owls move to 2-1 on the season with a 2-0 conference mark.

Balducci then scored her own goal in the 13
th minute with the assist from
McKenzie Gourley to give the Owls a 2-0 lead.
Gonzalez netted her second goal in the 30
th minute as she tapped the ball in off
Abby Wilson's cross. The Owls headed into halftime with a 3-0 lead.
Gourley found the back of the net just 2 ½ minutes into the second half off
Abby Prather-Turner's assist to give the Owls a 4-0 advantage.
In the 83
rd minute, Gourley found the back of the net to give the Owls a 5-0 lead.
MBU scored their one and only goal in the 80
th minute to cancel the Owls' shutout.
The Owls outshot MBU 28-12. The team took 19 shots on goal with six players having multiple shot attempts.
The Owls host University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy on Wednesday, March 10, at 4 p.m. for their third conference game.
