KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The No. 11 William Woods University women's tennis team defeated University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy 5-0 in the American Midwest/Heart of America Unaffiliated Tournament Quarterfinals to advance to the semifinals. This win moves the Owls to 12-5 on the season.
 
In doubles play, the Owls won the doubles point after winning at no. 1, no. 2, and no. 3. In singles, the Owls grabbed wins at no. 2, no. 3, no. 5, and no. 6 court.
 
The No. 11 Owls will face off against the winner of Evangel University and Grand View University in the Semifinals of the American Midwest/Heart of America Unaffiliated Tournament. They will play Saturday, April, 24 at 8:30 a.m.
