Women’s Soccer Blanked by No. 7 CMU

FULTON, Mo. – The William Woods University women's soccer team was blanked by No. 7 Central Methodist University Wednesday evening, -0. The Owls move to 1-1 on the season.
 
 CMU got on the board first with an own goal following a corner kick in the 17th minute. They scored their second goal just 20 seconds later off a cross. CMU scored the final goal of the half with .7 seconds on the clock to take a 3-0 lead.
 
The Eagles scored their fourth goal in the 55th minute. 
 
With Saturday's road game being canceled, the Owls continue their home streak versus Brescia on September 2 at 3 p.m.
