FULTON, Mo. - The William Woods University men's soccer team fell to No. 16 Williams Baptist Saturday afternoon, 1-0. The team moves to 2-6-3 on the season and 0-2-1 in conference play. 

The Owls had three opportunities to find the back of the net in the first period but were unable to finalize. The game went into halftime tied, 0-0. 

WBU scored the only goal of the day in the 49th minute to take the win over the Owls, 1-0. 

Iker Gonzalez played 90 minutes in between posts and took the loss on goal. He stopped 10 shots with eight coming from the first half. 

The Owls were outshot by WBU, 22-4. 

Next for the Owls is a road game at Harris-Stowe in St. Louis, Mo. on Tuesday, Oct. 18. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m.
