FULTON, Mo. – The William Woods University women's soccer team defeated Williams Baptist on Senior Day Saturday afternoon, 2-0. The team improves to 5-6-2 overall and 2-0-1 in conference play.
 
Three minutes following the second half begun, Cindy Gonzalez found the back of the net from a pass by Mackenzie Boyle.
 
Eight minutes later, Sydney Balducci scored the Owls' second game of the day to secure a 2-0 win.
 
Michyla Handley was credited with the win on goal. She played 90 minutes in between posts and recorded four saves.
 
The Owls outshot the Eagles, 28-6
 
Next for the Owls is a road game in St. Louis, Mo. against Harrist-Stowe on Tuesday, Oct. 18. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
