ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The William Woods University women's soccer team fell to Harris-Stowe State University Tuesday afternoon, 4-0. The team drops to 5-7-2 overall and 2-1-1 in conference play.
Harris-Stowe held a 3-0 lead after the first period. In the second period, Harris-Stowe scored one more goal to take a 4-0 win over the Owls.
The Owls were outshot by Harris-Stowe, 13-6.
Michyla Handley took the loss on goal. She played 69 minutes in between posts and had four saves.
Belle Boschert played 21 minutes in between posts.
The Owls return to action at No. 13 Columbia on Friday, Oct. 21. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m.
