FULTON, Mo. – The William Woods University volleyball team swept Hannibal-LaGrange University Tuesday afternoon for their fourth consecutive conference sweep of the season.
The Owls won 25-21, 25-19, 25-23. They improve to 5-1 in the AMC with a 10-14 overall record.
Next up for the Owls is a conference match at University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy on Wed., Oct. 19, at 6 p.m.

How It Happened
The Owls put together an 8-2 run midway through set one to take up a five-point lead, 20-15. HLGU cut the set to one, but kills from
Lauren Adams and
Rhakala Blackmon ended the set with a 25-21 win.
The Owls strung together a 6-1 run midway through the second set, but HLG again closed the gap to one. The Owls responded with a 5-0 run to bring the set to set point, and a kill from
Kassidy Phillips sealed the deal and put the Owls up 2-0.
HLGU took up an 8-2 lead early in set three. Phillips, Blackmon and
Emma Austin put together a 4-0 run to take a 14-12 lead, and the Owls stayed one step ahead to finish out the match.
Ella Lewis smashed down a kill to win the match 25-23.
