WINFIELD, Kan. – The William Woods University men's cross country team competed in the NAIA Mid-States Classic Saturday afternoon. The Owls placed 15^th.
 
The Owls averaged a 30:48 8K with a 2:34.00 total time.
 
Orion Parker led the way for the Owls, placing 36^th with a 27:32.92 time.
 
Dustin Russell came in second for the Owls with his 67^th place finish (28:22.31).
 
Freddy Zheng placed 141^st (31:36.74), Rashad Meaders placed 147^th (32:21.07), and Layne Norris placed 166^th (34:07.27).
