Fink Scores Twice in Shutout Against MBU on Senior Day

FULTON, Mo. - The William Woods University men's soccer team took down Missouri Baptist Saturday afternoon, 2-0. The team improves to 4-8-3 on the season and 2-4-1 in conference play. 

MBU started the first period strong as they had eight shots while the Owls had none.

In the second period, David Fink found the back of the for the Owls with 63 minutes on the clock.

40 seconds before regulation was over, Barnaby Sargent passed the ball to Fink who was able to find the back of the net once again to help the Owls take a 2-0 victory against Missouri Baptist.

Iker Gonzalez (3-3-1) played 90 minutes in between posts and took the win on goal. He recorded 10 saves in the match. 

The Owls conclude regular season at home against UHSP on Monday. Oct. 31. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m.
