FULTON, Mo. - Florian Senst of the William Woods University men's soccer team tallied two goals in today 4-0 win over University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy. The team improves to 5-8-3 on the season and 3-4-1 in conference play.
Florian Senst netted his first goal of the day off an assist from
Barnaby Sargent with six minutes on the clock.
Nicolas Martinez passed the ball to
Lubos Polacko who gave the Owls a 2-0 lead in the 40
th minute as he found the back of the net.
Aiden Mowrey netted his first goal of the season in the 73
rd minute off
David Fink's assist.
With the clock hitting 82
nd minute mark, Senst scored his second goal of the day unassisted to give the Owls a 4-0 win.
Matthew Dworak was credited with the win on goal. He played the initial 45 minutes of the game in between posts. Will Rieves played the second half of the game in between posts and stopped six shots.
The Owls outshot UHSP, 13-6.
The team will begin competition at the AMC Tournament on Saturday, Nov. 5 at the No. 3 seed Missouri Baptist. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
