Box Score FULTON, Mo. – Sydney Balducci and Lauren Helmert each scored two goals in today's victory against University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy, 5-3. Today's win secured us the number four seed in the AMC Tournament. The team improves to 7-9-2 on the season and 4-3-1 in conference play.
 
With only eight minutes into the first period, Sydney Balducci opened the scoring with her first goal of the day to take a 1-0 lead for the Owls.
 
Four minutes later, UHSP answered with a goal to tie the game.
 
Abby Prather-Turner took a corner kick to Balducci who passed the ball to Abby Wilson who found the back of the net, taking the lead once again in the 26^th minute.
 
Four minutes later, UHSP tied the game once again, 2-2.
 
The lead quickly jumped back to the Owls once Balducci scored her second goal of the day assisted by Abby Wilson, one minute later.
 
The Owls went into halftime with a 3-2 lead over UHSP.
 
Lauren Helmert netted her first goal off a pass from Prather-Turner in the 68^th minute.
 
Helmert scored another one assisted by Chloe Overkamp to extend the Owls' lead to 5-2.
 
UHSP scored the final goal of the game. The Owks took a 5-3 in over UHSP.
 
Belle Boschert was credited with the win on goal. She played 90 minutes in between posts and stopped one shot.
 
The Owls outshot UHSP 27-5. Out of those 27 shots, 11 went on goal.

Next for the Owls is the AMC Tournament Quarterfinals where we will host Stephens on the on Friday, Nov. 4. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m.
