CONWAY, Ark. – Jared Crutcher posted a double-double in the William Woods University men's basketball loss at Central Baptist College Saturday afternoon.
The 65-52 loss snaps the Owl's winning streak and brings them to 7-5 overall with a 2-2 conference mark.

The Owls host No. 7 Langston at noon on Monday, Dec. 19.

Fred Robinson posted a team-high 14 points (6-12 FG).

Jared Crutcher shot 60% from the field (6-10) for 13 points.

Jared Crutcher pulled down 12 boards for his fourth career double-double.

The Owls ran the show to start the game, jumping out to a 13-1 lead eight minutes in. CBC turned the tables though, answering with an 18-2 run over a seven-minute span to put them up by four, 19-15.
A jumper by
Fred Robinson as part of a 5-0 run put the Owls back on top with 2:06 to play, and a jumper from
Nathan Schwartze closed out the half with a one-point lead, 22-21.
CBC opened the second half with an 8-0 run, and they extended their lead to nine points three and a half minutes in, 33-24.
A tip-in from
Jared Crutcher followed by a three from Schwartze brought the Owls within six with 11:13 to play, but that was as close as the Owls were going to get. CBC pushed their lead back to double digits and hovered around it for the remainder of the game. The Owls lost 65-52.
