FULTON, Mo. - The William Woods University men's basketball team fell to RV Missouri Baptist University this afternoon, 70-56. The loss drops the owls to 16-13 overall and 10-5 in conference play.
The Owls will host tomorrow Hannibal-LaGrange at Senior Day. Tip-off is set for 5 p.m.

Game Highlights
MBU started the game with a 5-2 run with 15:43 left but the Owls responded with one free-throw from
Darius Yohe and a layup from
Jared Crutcher to tie the game, 5-5. MBU added the next seven points to take a seven-point lead with 10:24 left, 12-5.
A jumper from
Makenzie Fessler and a three-pointer from
Mike Robinson assisted by
Nathan Schwartze had the Owls trailing by four with 7:19 left, 16-12. MBU had a 10-2 run to increase the lead 26-14 with 3:56 left.
Schwartze scored the final three points of the first period for the Owls going into halftime trailing by 12, with MBU leading 33-21.
The Owls had an 8-2 run in the beginning of the second half with a three-pointer from
Spencer Yoggerst followed by a jumper from Schwartze and a three from Fessler with 18:09 left. MBU answered with three field goals in a row to take a 12-point lead, 41-29.
A layup followed by a free-throw from Crutcher had the Owls trailing by nine with 11:05 left. Yohe added three more points after hitting a jumper and a free-throw to cut the deficit to six, 52-46.
MBU ignited a 18-10 run to end the game with a 70-56 win over the Owls.
