SAN ANTONIO-Texas. – The William Woods University softball team dropped a pair of games today in a doubleheader against Texas A&M University-San Antonio. The Owls took a 10-7 loss on the first game and a 6-0 loss on the second game. The losses drop the team to 1-5 on the season.
The Owls will travel next to No. 7 Ottawa University on Saturday, Feb. 26 for a doubleheader. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m.

Game One
The Owls fell 10-7 on game one.
Ashlyn Towery (0-1) took the loss on the mound. She pitched 3.1 innings and struck out two while allowing three hits and five runs.
Jessica Keilholz pitched 2.2 innings and allowed four hits and five runs.
Game Two
The Owls fell 6-0 on the second game.
Sarah Randermann (1-2) started on the mound and grabbed the loss. She struck out nine and allowed only three unearned runs.
