ELSAH, Ill. – Senior Katie French was named Outstanding Field Athlete of the Year and Sophomore Ellie Dimond earned Newcomer of the Year following their performance at the AMC Indoor Championships. The Owls grabbed a total of five first place finish while collecting a few personal records.
 
The Owls finished in second place with 151 points behind Columbia who collected 239 points.
 
It was the first time competing in several events for a lot of the Owls.
 
All top three finishes earned all-conference honors. First place is named first team, second place picked second team, and third place is named third team.
 
The Owls had eight athletes earned First Team All-Conference, six were selected Second Team All-Conference and eight were named Third Team All-Conference.
 
THROWS
Katie French once again placed first in both shot put and weight throw. She hit the NAIA "B" Standard in both events. In the weight throw she had a 15.88-meter throw while on shot put she had a 13.31-meter toss.
 
JUMPS
Susan Moman's 1.40-meter high jump placed her third. Nia Hawkins finished in fourth place in both high jump and triple jump. She jumped 1.35-meter in the high jump and hit a new PR in the long jump with a 10.29-meter jump. In the triple jump, her 4.87-meter jump placed her seventh.
 
RELAY
The DMR team was comprised of Mary Grover, Kristan Wilson, Ellie Dimond, Faith Gerling which finished first with a time of 14:15.33. The 4x800 Relay placed second and was Maddie Mendell, Emma Clifford, Mekayla Gibson, Harley Nale. The team earned Second Team All-Conference following their 10:50.07 time. The 4x400 was comprised of Kristan Wilson, Nia Hawkins, Emma Clifford, Harley Nale who finished third with a time of 4:30.89. 
 
DISTANCE
Competing in the one-mile run, Gibson finished in fourth place with a 5:43.99 time. In the 3000-meter run, Alicia Engelbrecht finished first with a 11:15.66 time. In the 5000-meter run, she hit a new PR that placed her first with a time of 19:03.05. Grover finished in fifth place with a 20:19.89 time. Dimond placed second in the 600-Meter run with a time of 1.45.96. In the 1000-Meter Run, Nale placed second with a time of 3:13.42. Dimond finished in third with a time of 3:19.11 and Gibson placed fourth with a time of 3:27.02.
 
SPRINTS
In the 400-meter dash, Wilson's new PR of 1:04.64 placed her third while earning Third Team All-Conference.
