SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The William Woods University baseball team took down Evangel University this afternoon, 12-3. The team improves to 9-4 on the season.
 
The Owls travel to Missouri Valley for a four-game series on Friday, Mar. 4 at 12 p.m.

• Isaiah Gibbs went 2 for 2. He had two hits, scored four runs and had three RBIs.
• Jordan Smith went 3 for 5. He scored one run and had three RBIs.
• Zach Krause went 3 for 5. He scored two runs and had three RBIs.
• Marcus Gonzalez recorded one hit, scored one run and had one RBI.
• Alex Owens had one hit and one run.
• Kamron Morriss had one run and one RBI.
• Vincent Pyeatt scored one run.
• Bryson Matthews went 2 for 3 and had two RBIs.
• Caleb Caraker grabbed the win on the mound. He pitched 5.0 innings and allowed three hits and two runs.
