CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - The No. 16 William Woods University women's tennis team dropped a pair this afternoon to NCAA Division II Southeast Missouri State University. The team fell on game one 5-2 and were swept on game two, 7-0. The Owls drop to 2-6 on the season.
The No. 16 Owls host Ottawa University (Kan.) on Friday, Mar. 4 at 10 a.m.
Game One
The Owls fell on game one to SEMO, 5-2.
Hanna Lindeboom and
Hannah Meyer were the only Owls that were able to grab a win on the court today.
In No. 4 singles, Lindeboom defeated Teona Velkoska 6-3, 6-3. In No. 6 singles,
Hannah Meyer earned a 6-2, 6-0 win over Grace Powderly.
Game Two
The Owls fell on game two to SEMO, 7-0.
The Owls were unable to win any match in singles and doubles.
