GULF SHORES, Ala. – The William Woods University softball team concluded their participation at the Gulf Coast Invitational this afternoon with two games. The Owls fell on game one against No. 20 Morningside College (Iowa) 18-6, and grabbed a win against Faulkner University (Ala.), 3-1. The team moves to 6-7 on the season.

The Owls return to action on Tuesday, Mar. 8 in Mobile, Alabama against Thomas More at 1 p.m. and then against RV University of Mobile at 3:30 p.m.
Game One
The Owls fell 18-6 against No. 20 Morningside.

The Owls defeated Faulkner, 3-1.
