MOBILE, Ala. – The William Woods University played two games at the University of South Alabama and grabbed one win Tuesday evening. The Owls fell to RV University of Mobile 8-2, and defeated Thomas More University, 5-2. The team moves to 7-8 on the season.
On the second game of the day, the Owls were down 1-0 with two outs in the seventh inning and scored five runs to win the game.

The Owls will play a doubleheader against Thomas More University at University of Mobile on Wednesday, Mar. 9. First pitch is set for 1 p.m.
Game One
The Owls fell to RV Mobile, 8-2.
Sarah Randermann (5-3) was credited with the loss on the mound. She pitched 6.0 innings, struck out two while allowing eight hits and seven earned runs.
Game Two
The Owls defeated Thomas More University, 5-2.
"Alexis had a really nice game on the mound," said Head Coach
Tracy Gastineau. "She settled down after the first inning and was able to get her first win this season and a complete game so that's good to see. We had some key walks and Emma came up with a big bases loaded, bases clearing double."
Alexis Hassler was credited with the win on the mound. She pitched 7.0 innings and struck out two while allowing seven hits and two runs.
