FULTON, Mo. – Established in 2013, the William Woods University Athletic Hall of Fame recognizes the efforts and achievements of former student-athletes, coaches, teams, administrators and contributors to the William Woods University athletics department. It was also established to reinforce a sense of history, pride and tradition. The Athletic department is now accepting nominations for the 2022 class.

The deadline to nominate for the 2022 Hall of Fame Class is May 23.

The nominating committee is comprised of current athletic department head coaches and staff, select former administrators and staff members, and current members of the Athletic Hall of Fame.

The voting committee is comprised of current athletic department head coaches and selected staff members that have completed employment at William Woods for a minimum of three years.

The criteria for election to the WWU Athletics Hall Of Fame are as follows.

Student-Athlete Criteria:
- Graduate of Daughters College, William Woods College or William Woods University
- Five years removed from completion of athletic eligibility
- Must have demonstrated outstanding athletic achievement or leadership in the sport(s) in which they participated
- Represented William Woods in a positive fashion both as an undergraduate and as an alumnus

Coaches, Administrators and Contributors Criteria:
- Have conducted themselves in a fashion such as to bring credit to William Woods University for a minimum of five years
- Demonstrated exemplary service and/or contributions to the growth and development of the William Woods University athletic programs

Team Criteria:
- Brought recognition and prominence to William Woods University
- Five years removed from the season in which the team is being recognized
- The induction of a team shall not prohibit the separate induction of one or more of its members
