FULTON, Mo. – The William Woods University softball team splits two games against Williams Baptist University (Ark.) Saturday afternoon. The team improves to 17-13 on the season and 6-3 in conference play.

Game One
The Owls fell in game one, 9-7 in 10 innings.

• Emma Taylor went 1 for 3. She scored two runs and recorded one RBI.
• Devyn Burton went 2 for 4. She scored one run and had one RBI.
• Celeste Sermeno went 1 for 3. She scored one run.
• Mallory Feldewerth went 2 for 6. She scored one run and had two RBIs.
• Taylor Bell and Katie Gaus each scored one run.
• Alexis Hassler went 2 for 5. She added one RBI.
• Ariana Donovan went 1 for 6. She recorded two RBIs.
• Ally Mahoney went 1 for 3.
• Annika Ramon went 1 for 4.
• The Owls outhit the Eagles, 11-7.

Sarah Randermann (8-6) took the loss on the mound. She pitched 10.0 innings and struck out 14 while allowing seven hits and nine runs.
 
Game Two
The Owls took a 9-1 win in game two in five innings.

• Celeste Sermeno scored one run and had one RBI.
• Mallory Feldewerth went 4 for 4. She scored three runs and recorded one RBI.
• Alexis Hassler went 2 for 2. She scored two runs and had two RBIs.

• Devyn Burton went 3 for 3. She scored one run and added two RBIs. 

Kalee Wall (5-3) was credited with the win on the mound. She pitched 5.0 innings and struck out one while allowing six hits and one run.
