O'FALLON, Mo. – The William Woods University baseball team had a strong start to grab their first win in the American Midwest Conference Tournament against Central Baptist Tuesday evening, 9-8. The Owls improve to 30-16 on the season.

The Owls will face one-seeded Lyon College on Wednesday, May 4 at 10 a.m. at CarShield Field in O'Fallon, Mo.
