COLUMBIA, Mo. – The William Woods University softball team fell to Columbia College in the Championship Series of the 2022 American Midwest Conference (AMC) Tournament Friday afternoon. The team moves to 23-23 on the season.

Game One
The Owls fell to Columbia in six innings, 9-1.
Kalee Wall (5-9) was credited with the loss on the mound. She pitched 5.1 innings and allowed 18 hits and nine runs.
Game Two
The Owls took a 17-3 loss to Columbia.
Ashlyn Towery started on the mound for the Owls. She pitched 1.1 innings and struck out one while allowing six hits and eight runs.
Alexis Hassler (5-3) took the loss on the mound. She pitched 5.2 innings and allowed 11 hits and nine runs.
