Box Score OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – Mia Santos hit a home run over the left center field fence for the Owls' only run in the team's first game of the NAIA National Championship Opening Round hosted by Oklahoma City. The Owls fell 4-1 to the No. 2 Oklahoma City Stars.
With the loss, the Owls will now play Eastern Oregon University on Tuesday, May 17, at 1 p.m. The winner stays alive while the loser will have their time in the NAIA National Championship come to a close.

OCU got on the board first with a RBI single in the top of the first inning. They added a run to their score in the fourth with a one out RBI double.
In the bottom of the fourth,
Mia Santos smashed a one-out homer over the left center field fence to bring the score to 2-1.
Celeste Sermeno followed with a single to center field, marking the Owls' second hit of the day, but she was left stranded.
OCU added two more runs in the fifth inning to go up 4-1.
In the bottom of the seventh,
Alexis Hassler was able to hit a one-out single to left field, but was left stranded as the final two outs of the game happened just after.
Sarah Randermann (12-9) pitched the complete game. She struck out four.
