Owls Fall to No. 14 John Brown

SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. – The William Woods University women's soccer team fell to No. 14 John Brown University Saturday afternoon, 8-0. The team drops to 3-6-1 on the season.

Hastings held a 4-0 lead after the first half. In the second half, Hastings scored four more goals to take the win. 

The Owls were unable to find the back of the net during the 90 minutes of regulation
 
Michyla Handley took the loss on goal. She played 82 minutes in between posts and recorded 12 saves. Wilson Hornsby played eight minutes in between posts and made two stops.
 
JBU outshot the Owls, 31-3.
 
The Owls travel next to Conway, Arkansas to face off against Central Baptist on Saturday, Oct. 1. Kickoff is set for 12 p.m.
