St. Louis - William Woods Women's Wrestling dropped to 0-2 on the season with a tough loss to #10 Missouri Baptist 42-6.
 
Teani Medeiros-Maielua was the lone Owl who won via forfeit over the Spartans at 136 pounds. Caden Winkler lost a tough 10-8 decision at 130 pounds. Abby Piper dropped her match at 170, while Lily Burns lost her match at 191 pounds.
 
Alyssa Washington and Teani Medeiros-Maielua both wrestled in exhibition matches but fell to their Spartan opponents.
