St. Louis, Mo. – The William Woods University men's basketball team fell on the road to American Midwest Conference (AMC) foe, Harris-Stowe State University.
With the 64-57 defeat, the Owls fall to 12-11 overall and 6-7 in the AMC.

The first 13 minutes of the game were back and forth, as neither team held a lead over four points. The Hornets took some momentum into the locker room after ending the first 20 minutes on a 16-10 run and led 37-29.
The Owls connected on the first field goal of the second half, as
Fred Robinson found some space and laid a ball in. That was followed by an
Abdulh Diaby free throw and the Owls trailed by just five (37-32). With 12:25 left in the game, Robinson knocked down a pair of free throws to get the Owls within one point. The Owls just could not get over the hump and that was as close as they would get to the Hornets, who cruised to the seven point win (64-57).

The Owls host AMC-rival Columbia College on Saturday, Feb. 11. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
