DES MOINES, Iowa. - William Woods University Tennis Programs continued their dominance across the Midwest on Sunday with a dominant pair of wins over fellow Heart of America Athletic Conference member Grand View University.
The men's team carried a 7-0 win over the Vikings, with Woods only losing in two sets across all matches. Duarte Melo carried the win in #1 Singles with Noah Burton, Thomas Geukemeijer, Tomas Guadagni, Jesper Seger and Paulo Lopes Ferreira to follow. In doubles, all three tandems were able to secure wins with each match going the minimum and finishing in reverse order.
The nationally ranked Owls have a quick turnaround facing Morningside College tomorrow morning.
