Two Owls Earn NAIA All-American Nod

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Duarte Melo and Noah Burton were awarded Third-Team All-American status by the NAIA after the conclusion of the 2025-26 season. Both completing their careers as Owls, Melo earned his first All-American nod, while Burton was a member of the third team in 2024-25 as well.

Duarte Melo, the 5th year from Portugal, held down the number one spot in the lineup for William Woods. He accrued 12 singles victories against tough competition from across the nation, earning himself an NAIA Player of the Week award for the week of March 17th. Melo paired up with Burton during doubles matches, tallying 14 wins for the pair on the year.

Noah Burton, the 5th year from England, was nothing short of excellent behind Melo in the number two spot. Burton dominated his competition for 13 singles wins to pair with the success in doubles.
