FULTON, Mo.— William Woods women's tennis (1-0) hosted their only match of the fall season and dominated KCAC school University of Saint Mary (0-1). The Owls flipped the script, playing singles first and grabbing an early 5-1 lead.
After sweeping the final five singles matches, Woods grabbed the doubles point as well with Liv Zecher and Charlotte Ready taking the top spot and Bieke Roovers and Chloe Hecker grabbing the deciding point in #2 doubles play.
In their next match, Woods travels to the ITA Central-West Region Tournament to qualify for a spot at the ITA Cup in Rome, Georgia.
