(WALNUT RIDGE, Ark., Oct. 26)--The William Woods University volleyball team lost at American Midwest Conference rival Williams Baptist College Tuesday night. The Owls lost 3-1 to the Eagles by scores of 22-25, 25-18, 18-25 and 20-25.

Williams Baptist improves to 15-16 overall and 4-10 in the AMC. William Woods falls to 14-18 on the year and 6-7 in the AMC. 

Senior Brianna Rodriguez (Camdenton, Mo.) led the Owls with 11 kills. Freshman Sarah Wehmeyer (Carrollton, Texas) had a team-high 16 assists in the loss. Junior Nicole Mannino (St. Charles, Mo.) and sophomore Alicia Green (Midlothian, Texas) each had four blocks for WWU.

The Owls return to action on October 29. WWU will host AMC rival Columbia College at 7 pm in Anderson Arena.
