(PARKVILLE, Mo., Nov. 9)-- The William Woods University men's soccer team lost at Park University Tuesday afternoon. The Owls lost 3-0 in the Semifinals of the American Midwest Conference Postseason Tournament.

Park, the tournament's top seeded team, scored all three of its goals in the opening half of play.

Park (12-3-1) outshot the Owls 19-6. Freshman Joao Paulo Dutra Parra (Sao Paulo, Brazil) led the Owls with four shots.

Senior Cory Herchenroeder (St. Louis, Mo.) had 10 saves for WWU in goal.

William Woods end the 2010 season 11-7-2.
