The William Woods University volleyball team earned an American Midwest Conference road victory Monday night.  The Owls defeated Benedictine University-Springfield 3-0.  WWU improves to 12-16 on the season and 5-6 in the AMC.

The Owls defeated the Bulldogs 25-15, 25-9 and 25-15.  Kristen Bauer (St. Charles, Mo.) led the Owls with 10 kills.  Sarah Wehmeyer (Carrollton, Texas) recorded 24 assists in the victory.  Emily Nolte (Higginsville, Mo.) had a team-high 13 digs.  Lauren Fleming (Granbury, Texas) tallied five blocks in the win.

William Woods will return to action October 19.  The Owls will host BU-Springfield at 7 pm in Anderson Arena.
