The William Woods University volleyball team earned an American Midwest Conference victory Thursday night in Anderson Arena.  The Owls defeated visiting Hannibal-LaGrange University 3-0 (25-18, 25-20 and 25-17).  Thursday night was also Senior Night for the Owls.
 
Alicia Green (Midlothian, Texas) and Kristen Bauer (Saint Charles, Mo.) each recorded a match-high 13 kills in the victory.  Green added four blocks for the Owls.
 
Sarah Wehmeyer (Carrollton, Texas) led the Owls with 39 assists.  She added six digs in the win.
 
Emily Nolte (Higginsville, Mo.) recorded a match-high 13 digs for the Owls.
 
H-LG falls to 13-19 on the season and 8-8 in the AMC.  William Woods improves to 15-20 on the year and 8-8 in league play.
 
The Owls return to action November 8 in the AMC postseason tournament.  The opponent and location are still to be determined.
