FULTON, Mo. – The William Woods University volleyball team returns to action at Anderson Arena on Friday, October 20th when they host Kansas Wesleyan University at 6 p.m. This will be the Owls first home match since October 9th.
 
WWU takes on Stephens College on Thursday night prior to hosting Kansas Wesleyan.
 
About the Owls
- The Owls enter the match with an overall record of 20-5 and are 7-1 in the AMC
- WWU is coming off a 3-1 (26-28, 22-25, 25-21, 23-25) contest on Tuesday night to No. 10 Columbia
- The Owls are eighth in blocks per game averaging 2.5 a game. WWU has a total of 210 blocks in the season, which is 16th best in the NAIA
- Kira Krebill leads the Owls with 95 on the season, which is 29th in the nation
- Jessica Jensen leads the Owls in digs collecting 437 on the season and is ranked 29th in the NAIA averaging 5.2 digs
- Offensively, the Owls are 43rd in hitting percentage as they are hitting at a 0.211
- Leading the Owls is Tory Wiley averaging 2.6 kills and has a total of 213 on the season
- Brittney Engelbrecht continues to add to her assist count as she racked up 801 on the season placing her at 46th in the NAIA
- Engelbrecht also leads the Owls in aces with 24 in the season
- WWU has lost its last two contests
 
About the Coyotes
- The Coyotes enter the non-conference match with an overall record of 20-4 and a record of 15-1 in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference
- Kansas Wesleyan plays at Ottawa (Kan.) in KCAC action on Thursday night before making the trip to Fulton
- The Coyotes have won 12 straight contests, with its last loss coming on September 20th when they were defeated by Ottawa
- Defensively, the Coyotes are eighth in the NAIA in blocks with 224 in the season
- Kelsey Plummer leads the Coyotes in blocks with 121 blocks
- Three Coyotes have collected over 200 kills in the season. Valerie Most leads the three with 277 kills. Teammates Hannah Reynolds and Kelsey Plummer follow closely behind with 265 and 220 kills
- Taylor Dodge leads the Coyotes in assists with 470 in the season. Dodge also has 10 kills and 178 digs in the season.

What's Next
WWU returns to action at Anderson Arena on Monday, October 23rd when they host No. 12 Missouri Baptist University. The match is set to start at 6 p.m.
