Women’s Basketball Returns to Anderson Arena Thursday

FULTON, Mo. – The William Woods University women's basketball returns to Anderson Arena on Thursday, November 30th to face Missouri Baptist University in American Midwest Conference action. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m.
 
About the Owls
- WWU enters Thursday's matchup with a 4-3 overall record and 2-0 in the AMC
- William Woods has won its last two games, including a 74-56 victory over Park on November 18
- This will be the Owls first game since the victory over Park University
- The Owls are shooting 79.3 percent from the free throw line this season, which is fourth best in the nation
- WWU is averaging 75.0 points per game this season and allowing teams to score 70.1 points per game
- The Owls have four players scoring in double figures. Jasmine Brown leads the way averaging 14.7 points per game, Peyton Greenlee follows averaging 14.1 points per game. Kaycee Gerald and Lexy Ganaway round out the double figure scorers averaging 13.0 and 10.0 points per game

- Missouri Baptist enters the contest against the Owls with a 4-1 overall record and a 2-0 mark in the AMC

- Missouri Baptist is coming off a 74-55 victory over St. Louis College of Pharmacy on November 18th
- The Spartans rank eighth in the nation in steals per game, as they average 14.4. They are led by Briya Wilborn who is averaging 4.00 steals per game, the second-best mark in the NAIA
