FULTON, Mo. —The William Woods University softball team ventures back to Owl field as they open up its home schedule AMC by hosting Stephens College on March 21st. First-pitch of the doubleheader is set for 2 p.m.
About the Owls

- They are coming off a sweep of Harris-Stowe. The Stars won game one, 12-1, and game two, 11-0
- Monica Nakamatsu leads the Stars in batting average with 0.375 and 21 hits.
- Emma Kelly also has five doubles, eight RBIs and one homerun on the season
- The Stars pitching staff has an ERA of 3.75 and has given up 171 hits, 117 runs, 44 walks, and 49 strikeouts
- Miranda Carlisle leads the Stars in strikeouts with 26, and has an ERA of 3.23. She is 5-6 on the season

The Owls will continue AMC play as they host Lyon College and Central Baptist College on March 24th and March 25th. The Lyon doubleheader will start at 2 p.m. and Central Baptist doubleheader on the 25th starting at 1 p.m.
