FULTON, Mo. —The William Woods University softball team ventures back to Owl field as they open up its home schedule AMC by hosting Stephens College on March 21st. First-pitch of the doubleheader is set for 2 p.m.

About the Owls
- The Owls begin its home AMC play with an overall record of 14-13 and an AMC record of 0-4
- As a whole, the Owls are ranked 7th in triples (12), 35th in hits (215), and 45th in RBI's (110)
- Hannah Campbell leads the Owls in batting average (0.400) and in bases stolen (12). Campbell has also collected 36 hits, 25 runs, six doubles and 11 RBI's
- Offensively, Owl Hannah Begemann ranks 15th in triples with three
- Brailee Schulte leads the Owls in RBIs with 18 on the season
- The Owls pitching staff has an ERA of a 3.15. Collectively, the Owls have 116 strikeouts, given up 178 hits, and 113 runs
- Bre Logan leads the Owls on the season with five wins and 33 strikeouts

About the Stars
- The Stars enter the contest with an overall record of 9-13 and an AMC conference record of 2-4
- They are coming off a sweep of Harris-Stowe. The Stars won game one, 12-1, and game two, 11-0
- Monica Nakamatsu leads the Stars in batting average with 0.375 and 21 hits.
- Emma Kelly also has five doubles, eight RBIs and one homerun on the season
- The Stars pitching staff has an ERA of 3.75 and has given up 171 hits, 117 runs, 44 walks, and 49 strikeouts
- Miranda Carlisle leads the Stars in strikeouts with 26, and has an ERA of 3.23. She is 5-6 on the season
- Offensively, the Stars are hitting a 0.303, have scored 109 runs, collected 173 hits; including seven home runs and have an on-base percentage of a 0.344

The Owls will continue AMC play as they host Lyon College and Central Baptist College on March 24th and March 25th. The Lyon doubleheader will start at 2 p.m. and Central Baptist doubleheader on the 25th starting at 1 p.m.
