FULTON, Mo. – The William Woods University Softball closes out its 2017 home schedule as they host Central Baptist College on Saturday, April 22nd. The doubleheader begins at 2 p.m.

About the Owls
- The Owls have an overall record of 26-19 with an AMC record of 12-10
- WWU is coming of a sweep of Harris-Stowe on Monday. WWU defeated the Hornets, 10-0 in game one and 5-1 in game two
- Offensively, the Owls are ranked second in triples with 25. Hannah Campbell leads the Owls with eight on the season, ranking her at second in the NAIA
- Campbell is also leading the Owls in hits with 60 on the season and has a .403 batting average
- The Owls are hitting a .294 in the AMC. WWU has gathered a total of 120 runs, 171 hits, 24 doubles, 13 triples, 11 homeruns, 111 RBIs, and an OBP of .348 in conference action
- As a pitching staff, the Owls have an ERA of 2.51
- The Owls have collected 184 strikeouts, Allison Waskow leading with 55 batters struck out

About the Mustangs
- The Mustangs are 18-27 overall and have an AMC record of 6-12
- On April 15th the Mustangs split a doubleheader with Lyon
- Central Baptist plays at Park on Friday, April 21st prior to coming to play the Owls
- Whitney Wade is leading the offense with a batting average of .388 with 40 hits including 12 doubles, one triple, four homeruns, and 21 RBIs
- Teammate Raquel Westerman is leading in RBIs with 26 and has collected 34 hits, including 12 doubles, one triple, three homeruns and 13 walks
- The Mustangs are ranked tenth in runners caught stealing with 18 on the season
- Hunter Clark leads the Mustangs with four triples on the season. Her four triples ranks her 24th in the nation
