Box Score MOBILE, Ala. – The William Woods University men's tennis team defeat No. 8 Arizona Christian University, 5-0, to advance to the Quarterfinals of the NAIA Men's Tennis National Championship, which is being held at the Mobile Tennis Center in Mobile, Ala.
 
WWU returns to action on Thursday, May 18th when they play top seed Georgia Gwinnett College at 9 a.m. 

The Owls jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead in doubles action as Christian Barbieri and Christopher Vleeming Ortiz won 8-2 in No. 3 doubles. WWU came back taking No. 2 doubles with Oscar Barreiro and Johnnie Carmichael, 8-6. WWU continued to battle in No. 1 doubles and battled back winning an exciting match as David Barbieri and Stefan Simic won 9-8. Full double results listed below:

WWU did not let up as they continued its strong play in singles action. Claiming the fourth point for the Owls in the match was Johnnie Carmichael as he won 6-4, 6-3, in No. 4 singles. Minutes after he was completed teammate Christopher Vleeming Ortiz clinched the match with a 6-2, 6-1 victory. With the win the other matches did not finish. Full single results listed below:
