Box Score MOBILE, Ala. – The William Woods University Men's Tennis season came to an end on Thursday morning in the NAIA Men's Tennis National Championship Quarterfinals with a 5-0 loss to top seed Georgia Gwinnett College.
 
The Owls conclude the 2017 season with a 15-6 season.
 
WWU dropped No. 1 doubles 8-1 but were competed in No. 2 and No. 3 doubles. WWU led in both second and third doubles action as Christian Barbieri and Christopher Vleeming Ortiz led 4-2 in the match but could not hold the lead. Oscar Barreiro and Johnnie Carmichael were defeated in No. 2 doubles 9-8 (7-4). Full doubles results located below:

The Owls could not get anything going in singles action as Federico Duran defeated Oscar Donker putting Georgia Gwinnett ahead, 4-0. Georgia Gwinnett clinched the win when Rafael Coutinho defeated David Barbieri in No. 6 singles. Full single results below:
