Box Score FULTON, Mo. – The William Woods University men's tennis team had a successful WWU Doubles Invite at the Suzanne Neal Memorial Tennis Complex on the campus of William Woods University.

In the doubles A flight, the Owls
Oscar Barreiro and
Christopher Vleeming Ortiz received a bye in the first round, they then defeated Hu and DeGuzman from McKendree, 8-5, advancing to the Championship match where they were defeated, 8-5.
Also in the A Flight was
Christian Barbieri and
Jesus Amezcua. They won its first match, 8-2 over Turnage and Thiele of Truman State. They were defeated by Muller and Egbers of McKendree in the Semifinals, 9-8 (5). In the third-place match, Barbieri and Amezcua won 8-4 over Hu and DeGuzman.
In the B Flight, the Owls
Benjamin Tzchentke played with
Juan Esteban Duran. They were defeated 8-5 by Khan and Jevtiv in the first round. Moving to the Consolation bracket, Tzchentke and Duran won 8-4, before winning 8-1 over Khanna and Jones of McKendree. Tzchentke and Duran won the in the consolation bracket, 8-3, over Lockwood and Laurent and then won 8-1 over Khanna and Jones.
Marcos Vinicius Prates Constantino teamed with
Jack Campbell in the B flight. They were victories, 8-5, over Khanna and Lockwood of McKendree. However, the were defeated by
Nathan Cooke and
Oscar Donker, 8-4. Constantino and Campbell won the third-place match, 8-3, over Jarvis and LaValle.
Nathan Cooke and
Oscar Donker were victories over Burton and Thiele of Truman State, 8-2. Cooke and Donker defeated Vinicius and Campbell, 8-4, to advance to the championship.
