BELLEVILLE, Ill. – The William Woods University women's basketball team will face the No. 19  Lady Lynx of Lindenwood University-Belleville in the AMC Conference Tournament Quarterfinals on Thursday, March 1. Tip-off set for 7 p.m.

- The Women's tournament will play on Quarterfinals on March 1, Semifinals on March 3 and the Championship March 6

About the Owls
- WWU enters the AMC Tournament with an 18-12 overall record and are 15-9 in the AMC. The Owls are the No. 5 seed in the Conference tournament
-The Owls are on a two-game winning streak as they recently defeated Hannibal- LaGrange, 62-55, on Saturday
- William Woods is 7th in the NAIA in free throw percentage with a 74.4 percent
- WWU is 20th in the NAIA in blocks (93) and 28th in blocks per game averaging 3.1 blocks per game
-Jasmine Brown leads the Owls in blocks with 52 blocks this season, which is 10th in the NAIA and averages 1.73 blocks per game, 14th best in the NAIA
- The Owls are 38th in the NAIA in assists with 391 in the season. Kaycee Gerald leads the team with 112 in the season, 19th best in the NAIA. Gerald is averaging 3.73 assists per game.
- Gerald also leads the Owls in steals with 71 in the season. The Owls have collected 238 steals, 49th in the nation
- Kaycee Gerald is also leading the Owls in free throw percentage shooting at 78.4 percent from the line. Jasmine Brown follows shooting at a 74.3 percent.
- Jasmine Brown has collected 410 points this season and is the 43rd best mark in the nation
- At their last meeting, the Owls lost to the Lady Lynx in overtime, 70-63. Brown led the Owls in scoring with 24 points scored in the game. Kaycee Gerald followed scoring 12 points
- The Owls are averaging 68.1 points per game and are shooting 41.3 percent from the floor
- Opponents are averaging 65.4 points per game and shooting 38.4 percent against the Owls
 
About the Lady Lynx
- The Lady Lynx are 22-7 overall and have an AMC record of 19-5
- The Lady Lynx are the No. 4 seed in the AMC Conference Tournament
- Lindenwood-Belleville is No.1 in the nation in field goal percentage, shooting at a 48 percent from the floor
- They are also 23rd in the nation in free throw percentage shooting at a 71 percent
-Allison Webb is ranked No.2 in the nation in rebounds collecting 361 rebounds in the season and is averaging 12.4 rebounds per game, 3rd best in the nation
-Webb is also 9th in the NAIA in field goal percentage shooting at 55.4 percent from the floor
-Brianna Mueller is 19th in the nation in three-point field goal percentage, shooting at a 40.8 percent from the arc
- As a team, the Lady Lynx have hit 186 threes in the season, 29th best mark in the NAIA
- Four individuals are averaging double-figure points in the season. Allison Webb leads averaging 15.1 points per game, Brianna Mueller is averaging 14.6 points per game, Heather Waldemar is averaging 11.7 points per game, and is followed by Torre Kohrmann who is averaging 10.7 points per game
- The Lady Lynx are averaging 79.2 points per game t this season and opponents are scoring 61.5 points per game against the Lady Lynx

The winner will go on to play the winner of Columbia College and Williams Baptist College on March 3 at 3 p.m. in the AMC Semifinals.
