Box Score LEBANON, Tenn. – The No. 4 William Woods University men's tennis team remains undefeated on the season with their fifth consecutive win over No. 14 Cumberland University (Tenn.). The Owls came out with a 5-3 win over 14th-ranked team to move to 5-0 on the season.

The Owls went 2-1 in doubles play with their wins coming in the No. 1 and No. 2 spots. Aaron Westerlund and Oscar Barreiro defeated their opponents in the No. 1 doubles, 8-1, and Javier Callejo and Christopher Vlemming Ortiz defeated theirs in the No. 2 doubles, 8-2.
 
In singles play, the Owls won three of the five finished to grab the 5-3 win. Oscar Barreiro finished first in the No. 3 singles, 6-3, 6-3. Finishing third in singles play was Javier Callejo in the No. 1 doubles, 6-4, 7-6 (2). Sam Bird grabbed the third and final win for the Owls in the No. 5 slot, 6-4, 6-1.
 
The Owls return home for their second home contest against William Jewell College on Tuesday, March 19, at 3 p.m.
