Box Score FULTON, Mo. –The No. 4 William Woods University men's tennis team swept William Jewell College to continue their undefeated season. With the 9-0 win, the Owls move to 6-0 on the season.

The Owls grabbed three wins in doubles play. The Sam Bird and Patrick Shelepov duo defeated their opponent in the No. 3 doubles 8-1. In the No. 1 doubles, Javier Callejo and Oscar Barreiro won 8-5. In the No. 2 doubles, Zach Frisbie and Juan Esteban Duran won 8-3.
 
The Owls concluded the day with a sweep in singles play. Christopher Vleeming Ortiz in the No. 1 singles and Nathan Cooke in the No. 6 singles won 6-3, 6-1. Aaron Westerlund in the No. 2 singles won 6-1, 6-3. In the No. 3 singles, Jesus Amezcua defeated his opponent 6-2, 6-1. Sam Bird won both sets 6-2 in the No. 4 singles, and Antoine Maraval was the only Owl on the day to hold his opponent scoreless in a set. He won the No. 5 singles 6-2, 6-0.
 
The Owls travel to New Orleans, La. on Friday, March 22, for a match against No. 8 Xavier (La.) The Owls then face No. 9 William Carey for a neutral match on Saturday.
