Box Score ST. CHARLES, Mo. – The No. 9 William Woods men's tennis team picked up a win against NCAA Division II Lindenwood University Tuesday afternoon to improve to 7-2 overall.

To start off doubles action, Oscar Barreiro and Aaron Westerlund secured a 7-5 victory in line one doubles. Javier Callejo and Christopher Vleeming Ortiz also battled out a 7-6 win in the No. 2 spot. This gave the Owls a 1-0 lead over the Lions leading into singles play.
 
The Owls did not look back as they dominated singles play with six wins. In the No. 1 spot, Javier Callejo defeated his opponent 6-1, 6-1. Antoine Maraval secured a 3-6, 6-3, 6-0 victory in the No. 2 spot. Oscar Barreiro earned a 6-3, 6-3 victory in the No. 3 spot. In line four singles, Aaron Westerlund downed his opponent 4-6, 6-0, 6-1. Jesus Amezcua claimed a 6-3, 6-4 in the No. 5 spot. Sam Bird achieved a 6-1, 6-1 victory in the No. 6 spot.
 
The Owls travel to Topeka, Kan. to face McPherson College at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 27.
