Box Score MARION, Ind. – The No. 9 William Woods University men's tennis team swept No. 24 Indiana Wesleyan University in the final day of the Indiana Wesleyan Invite. The Owls improve to 12-2 on the season.

The Owls swept doubles play with three close wins. Oscar Barreiro and Aaron Westerlund won 9-7 in the No. 1 doubles spot. In the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles, the Christopher Vleeming Ortiz and Javier Callejo duo and the Zach Frisbie and Jesus Amezcua duo won 8-6.
 
The Owls needed just two points to clinch the match. Vleeming Ortiz defeated his opponent 6-0, 6-2 in the No. 4 singles spot. In the No. 5 singles, Jesus Amezcua won 6-0, 6-1.
 
The Owls look to stay undefeated in conference play with a match at RV Lindenwood University-Belleville on Wednesday, April 10. They face NCAA Division II McKendree University later in the day.
