The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the 2020 NAIA Men's and Women's Cross Country All-Academic Athletes and the Men's and Women's All-Academic Teams Thursday afternoon. William Woods University men's cross country placed all three of their eligible runners from the NAIA National Championships on the list. The men's team also earned the Team All-Academic award.

The three from the men's cross country team were Hunter Carpenter, Cole Koch and Nathaniel Ogden. This is the third consecutive time Ogden has earned this honor and the second consecutive year for Carpenter and Koch. 
 
The USTFCCCA All-Academic team honors student-athletes who have compiled a cumulative GPA of 3.25 in addition to competing at the NAIA National Championships.
 
The men's team also earned the Team All-Academic award as they posted a cumulative GPA of 3.51.

The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) is a non-profit professional organization representing cross country and track & field coaches of all levels. The organization represents thousands of coaching members encompassing NCAA track & field programs (DI, DII, and DIII) and includes members representing the NAIA and NJCAA, as well as a number of state high school coaches associations. The USTFCCCA serves as an advocate for cross country and track & field coaches, providing a leadership structure to assist the needs of a diverse membership, serving as a lobbyist for coaches' interests, and working as a liaison between the various stakeholders in the sports of cross country and track & field.
