MARION, In. – The no. 6 William Woods University women's tennis team was upset by no. 8 Indiana Wesleyan University Wednesday afternoon, 4-1. The loss moves the Owls to 10-4 on the season.
The Owls were unable to take the doubles point, losing at the no. 1, no. 2, and no. 3 matches. IWU took a 1-0 lead heading into singles play.

Ana Zavala was the only player that was able to finish the day with a win. Zavala defeated Lena Golz, 6-2, 6-1, in no. 2 singles.
The no. 6 Owls return to action on Friday, Apr. 16, at home against Ottawa University. The match time is 11 a.m.
