Box Score NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. - The No. 20 William Woods University men's tennis team opened their season at the NAIA Indoor National Invitational and they fell to No. 9 Union College 4-1 this afternoon.

The Owls were unable to take the doubles point as they lost at No. 2 and No. 3 courts.

In doubles, Vitek Subert and Nathan Cooke paired up at No. 1 and earned their first win of the season over Simon Campos and Augustin Gastaldi, 7-5.
 
In singles, Robert Schorr defeated Sebastiano Zorzi, 6-4, 6-1 at the No. 5 spot.

The Owls get back on the court tomorrow on Jan. 28, at 1 p.m. vs. No. 15 Grace for day two of the NAIA Indoor National Invitational.
