The ITA Cup is held at the Rome Tennis Center on the campus of Berry College in Rome, Georgia. It will take place on October 14-17.
Calvo Larraz will be making her debut while it will be Lindeboom's second appearance in the competition. Last year, she was joined by the four-time All-America
Ana Zavala in doubles, where they fell in the round of 16 in the 2021 edition.
Calvo Larraz and Lindeboom qualified to the ITA Cup after being crowned the doubles champions of the ITA Central-West Regional Championship.
"Hanna is back at the ITA Cup for a second consecutive year which is highly impressive for her sophomore year," stated Head Coach
Chance Joost. "Marta has had a real breakthrough in the last 10 months. These two are best friends, they live together and you can see they have a ton of chemistry.
"I'm excited to see them show what they can do at the national tournament. They are one of the best 10 doubles teams in the country I'm pretty confident of that."
Calvo Larraz and Lindeboom will face off against the No. 3 seed Cassidy Mataya and Liza Velykorodna from Georgia Gwinnet College on Thursday, Oct. 13 at 12:30 p.m.
Vaclav Schneider will enter his first ITA Cup after winning the singles draw of the ITA Central-West Regional Championship.
"Vaclav is a special player, not many players with his talent are as coachable as he is so I'm really excited to see him compete against the best players in the country because he certainly is in that conversation. Had it not been for an ankle injury last spring we would've have seen him be very high in the rankings," shared Joost.
His first opponent will be Yassir Kilani from Keiser University on Thursday, Oct. 13 at 11 a.m.
